Since everything is centralized, you never have to install software and can switch between PC and Macintosh machines with ease. HexaShare is optimized to support multiple browsers including: Explorer, Mozilla based browsers, and Safari.
Unlimited Number of User Accounts
Unlike with many other services, HexaShare allows you to create as many user accounts as you need. Furthermore, the Sub-Administrator feature available in Max accounts allows for more than one user (at your discretion) to manage the day to day operation of your subscription without being given complete control. This feature is perfect for larger companies where the delegation of tasks will give you a breather every now and again.
Public and Private Folders
Public folders are ideal for sharing non-sensitive files with your clients. Share a demo reel, promotional photographs, articles and press releases in these. Private folders provide the privacy and security needed for confidential client specific material. By setting access privileges for each user on the system you can be sure that the files you share with them will not be viewed by anyone else. Put your company party photos in a public folder for everyone to enjoy, put the afterparty photos in a private folder for the staff.
Quick and Easy Uploading
HexaShare makes uploading files quick and painless. Whether you're uploading a single Word document or a folder filled with gigabytes of sound effects, the intuitive drag and drop interface saves the day. The automatic compression option will crunch your files prior to uploading to save you time, and your uploads will be sent over a secure, 128 bit SSL connection. Once the files reach the server, they are unzipped automatically and are immediately available for your clients. Futhermore, you never have to worry about the integrity of your files because the built in verification system makes sure that each file is intact upon landing. Oh, and don't worry, HexaShare has resume capability in case your upload is interupted.
Manual or Automatic Notification: You Choose.
Keep everyone in the loop and configure HexaShare to manually or automatically notify collaborators when pertinent files are posted to folders they have access to. Be sure the accountant gets her invoices right away with a notification email.
Simple File Delivery
Simple delivery of files is the basis for HexaShare. Any user can receive files regardless of whether or not you have created an account for them. Enter the recipient's email address, and they will be sent a delivery notification containing a link to a "Pick-up Page" where all the files marked for delivery will be displayed for preview or download. Since security is often a concern, you have the option of password protecting each delivery so that only the intended users will be able to access the content.
Multimedia
Since HexaShare is designed with the media professional in mind, you'll be able to preview various image and audio formats (mp3, wav, aiff, flac) in real-time without leaving the browser. Furthermore, TotoExpress automatically provides your clients with the option to download alternative versions of your audio files (video and graphic formats soon too, we promise!) in formats that work best for them.
Stats Galore!
Even those of us who get a kick out of statistics (and who doesn't?) realize that time is often best spent elsewhere. HexaShare keeps track of everything; All activity in your account, including when users were logged in, what files they uploaded and/or downloaded, complete delivery history and more.
